We are seeking a seasoned and dynamic Senior Level Product Manager to lead our work in our CM portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the vision, strategy, and execution of our trade parsing and desk optimization product. Ensuring the product meet the needs of our customers while driving significant business impact for the trading desks. You will work at the intersection of AI and finance, leveraging innovative technologies to create user-centric products that enhance our market position.
Your responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy for the Genesis trade parsing product, aligned with Borealis and RBC's broader objectives;
- Identify market opportunities and define the product roadmap, focusing on innovative solutions that leverage AI technologies to solve real-world problems;
- Set ambitious objectives and key results (OKRs) to measure product success and drive continuous improvement;
- Product Development:
- Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation to launch, ensuring timely and successful delivery of high-quality products;
- Work closely with AI researchers, data scientists, and engineers to translate complex technical concepts into user-friendly products;
- Implement agile methodologies to ensure flexibility, rapid iteration, and responsiveness to feedback;
- Customer Focus:
- Conduct in-depth market research and user testing to understand customer needs and pain points, using insights to inform product development;
- Develop strong customer empathy and advocate for the user experience, ensuring products are intuitive, effective, and delightful to use;
- Create and maintain user personas and journey maps to guide product design and decision-making;
- Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across Borealis and RBC, fostering collaboration and alignment towards a shared vision;
- Influence and inspire cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, legal, and compliance, to ensure seamless product execution;
- Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress effectively to senior leadership and other stakeholders, ensuring transparency and buy-in;
- Innovation and Entrepreneurship:
- Foster a culture of innovation within the product team, encouraging creative thinking and the exploration of new ideas;
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities to integrate AI advancements into the CM portfolio;
- Champion a test-and-learn approach, promoting experimentation and the use of data to drive decision-making.
You're our ideal candidate if you:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master’s or MBA is a plus;
- 10+ years of product management experience in a top-tier technology company, with a focus on AI or machine learning products;
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, with a track record of successfully shipping products that users love and that drive business impact;
- Strong background in AI technologies and their application in product development, with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts;
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills;
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect and influence multiple groups towards a shared vision;
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and driving alignment;
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and a proactive approach to problem-solving;
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions;
- Deep customer empathy and a user-centric approach to product development;
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
- Strong technical background with the ability to understand and discuss architectural concepts, trade-offs, and new opportunities with technical team members;
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus.
