On December 5-10, 2016, RBC Borealis attended the 30th annual Neural Information Processing Systems (NIPS) conference. This was a landmark event for the machine learning community and, with over 5,000 attendees from around the world, represented the biggest attendance for this conference since its inception.
RBC Borealis was a proud Sponsor of NIPS 2016. The research team attended the conference and had the opportunity to meet and chat with fellow researchers as well as participate in various workshops and tutorials on deep learning, reinforcement learning, unsupervised learning, and other topics in machine learning and computational neuroscience.
If you also attended NIPS we would like to hear your thoughts on latest trends. Drop by the lab to catch-up!
