In our fourth instalment, we met up with reinforcement learning expert Prof. Martha White, assistant professor in the Department of Computing Science at the University of Alberta.

Prof. White details some of her recent work in representation learning, the reason why reinforcement learning often gets (erroneously) lumped in with robots, and the value of learning representations incrementally.
