FAQ

  • Once an applicant is selected to receive one of the RBC Borealis fellowships, RBC Borealis contacts the applicant’s university to transfer the fellowship funds to it. The winner’s university will make a payment(s) plan and will administer the funds to the student according to its own payroll schedule.  The fellowship will be paid either in one or multiple instalments in accordance with the university regulations.

  • Each fellowship is $10,000. The funds will be administered to the winners through their own university after adjudication is complete at some point in the New Year (2026).
