Dr. Eric Jiawei He is a Machine Learning Research Team Lead at RBC Borealis. His research focuses on deep generative models and time series analysis, recently specializing in Large Language Models (LLMs) and their financial applications.
Before joining RBC Borealis, Eric completed his Ph.D. from Simon Fraser University (Canada) under Prof. Greg Mori; his Master of Engineering study from Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) under Prof. Kai-Kuang Ma; and his Bachelor of Engineering from Zhejiang University (China). Dr. He spent one year as an intern at Disney Research (2017-2018) under Prof. Leonid Sigal's supervision.
