Viktor is a Senior ML Software Engineer at RBC Borealis, working on capital market product development. As an engineering tech lead, he is responsible for software architecture and the engineering aspect of research experiments and models. Before joining RBC Borealis, he worked in a variety of engineering and machine learning roles - from developing a blockchain ledger on bare metal microcontrollers, site reliability engineering of virtualization systems at scale for Google, and more recently as an ML architect leading the development of cloud ML infrastructure and biometric workflows for identity verification purposes. He is also an outside collaborator of the non-profit Kempelen Institute of Intelligent Technologies.
